What the Workmanship Warranty Addresses
The warranty addresses a defect shown, after assessment, to result from SQPD's preparation or application of the included coating work. Assessment uses the accepted quote, variations, condition record, product schedule, completion date and any care information supplied at handover.
A reported coating issue is not automatically a workmanship defect. SQPD first identifies the affected surface and likely cause before confirming whether corrective work is covered.
Material Exclusions
- Normal wear, cleaning damage, impact, abrasion or misuse
- Movement, cracking or failure of the building or substrate
- Moisture, leaks, mould or another condition outside the quoted coating work
- Existing coating or substrate failure that was excluded or could not reasonably be identified
- Damage caused by other trades, later alterations or client-supplied materials
- Colour change or fading that is not caused by SQPD workmanship
- Failure to follow recorded cure, care or maintenance information
How to Report a Concern
Send the project details
Call 0459 840 708 or email sales@sqpd.com.au with the invoice or project reference, affected area, when the issue was noticed and clear photographs where practical.
SQPD reviews and arranges assessment
We respond to every enquiry within one business day. Inspection timing depends on the issue, access and current scheduling, and is confirmed directly.
Written outcome
SQPD records the observed condition, likely cause, whether the issue is covered and the proposed corrective action or next step.
Covered corrective work
Where the issue is accepted as covered workmanship, the affected included work is scheduled at no charge under the confirmed warranty outcome.
Product Warranties and Consumer Rights
Manufacturer product warranties, where applicable, are separate from SQPD's workmanship warranty and depend on the exact specified system and manufacturer terms. Nothing on this page excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
The accepted quote and any project-specific warranty document are the authority for the included work. If they contain a more specific term for the project, that written term applies.
